B Corporation
In 2015, Tricordant became one of the first UK Certified B Corporations to reflect our commitment to transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
As a Certified B Corporation, we agreed to change our Articles of Association committing to the principles of being a business for good by recognising that others beyond shareholders should share in the profits and wealth of the business. This includes our employees and clients, the wider community and the planet. In seeking to work out these principles, we offer staff excellent employment, welfare and reward. We strive to deliver excellence to clients and regularly do pro bono work in the charity sector.
Social Commitment
We want the work that we do with our clients to impact our society and communities in a positive, healthy way, and we live and breathe generosity in every way we can.
As a business, Tricordant is committed to supporting others, and, from the outset, we decided to donate a minimum of 10% of our profits to charity. Additionally, we work ‘pro bono’ for certain charitable organisations where we see a need that we can and are able to meet. We are a Certified B Corporation.
Sustainability
Within Tricordant we actively measure our carbon emissions through home office working and business travel. We also work with our staff team to explore how each individual can optimise their own domestic sustainability.
We take active steps to reduce carbon emissions and then offset these by working with Climate Stewards, a charity working on behalf of the planet through carbon offsetting and other initiatives. We’re excited to announce that Tricordant has not only offset all emissions dating back to when the business first started in 2005, but we have also surpassed this milestone by more than double. This achievement means we have reached our net zero target and marks our transition to becoming a climate-positive business, dedicated to leading by example in sustainability.
