Recently, I was working with a client and talking about the culture of their organisation and how we could support them in a development programme.

At Tricordant, we’ve lots of experience with large group events for change in different organisations and systems. We’ve been organisers, facilitators, commissioners and participants.

Recently, we have worked on multiple assignments helping several different clients with their challenges in Learning Disability & Autism services.

In recent weeks, many of us have soaked ourselves in the Olympics, and if one thing is clear from that, ‘it’s not how you start that count but how you finish.

Over our almost 20-year existence as a consultancy, working in and across health and care has been the mainstay of our work.

Earlier this week, I was talking with colleagues about what we mean by organisational health. Within Tricordant, we are clear on what we mean, but we are not sure everyone else has the same level of understanding.

For now, we are at the end of this series on collaboration with pharmaceutical businesses. I trust that whether you are in a pharmaceutical business or not, you have found the points raised insightful and helpful.

The problem with collaboration is that there is a lot to them.  They require work, real effort and a steely determination to succeed. 

There is so much more to a successful collaboration than just individuals or organisations agreeing to meet and work together.

In pharma, innovation is paramount, and patient outcomes are central;  collaborations can play a pivotal role in driving progress.
