Hi, I’m Jo, a consultant at an organisational design consultancy. Thanks to a powerful AI ecosystem of agents, my day is a lot more efficient and balanced than it used to be. These AI agents support me in every aspect of my role—from generating client interest to delivering complex organisation design projects. Here’s a look at how I navigate a typical day while seamlessly collaborating with AI, my human colleagues, and even finding time for health and well-being.
Morning: AI-Driven Marketing and Business Development
My day kicks off with my marketing AI agent, which has already analysed the latest trends and client behaviours overnight. It suggests several content pieces for LinkedIn, including a post highlighting how AI is reshaping leadership roles. The AI tailors the post to align with Tricordant’s tone and our audience—senior leaders in HR, strategy, and operations. I review the draft, make a few tweaks, and schedule it for publishing. Meanwhile, my AI outreach agent has shortlisted potential new clients based on market data, making it easier for me to plan targeted outreach.
Mid-Morning: Responding to Procurements and Making Sales
As I sip my coffee, my procurement AI flags a new tender opportunity from a pharmaceutical company seeking organisational design consulting. The AI rapidly analyses the tender, extracts key requirements, and generates a draft response. I refine the proposal, ensuring it highlights Tricordant’s expertise in AI-enhanced organisation design. The AI also pulls in past case studies tailored to the client’s needs, and I send off the polished response with a click. Next up are sales calls. My virtual sales assistant has set up meetings based on warm leads identified by the AI agents. I log into a meeting fully briefed—my AI assistant has compiled a profile of the client, their strategic drivers, and potential pain points. Armed with these insights, I deliver a pitch tailored precisely to their needs. By the time the call ends, I’m confident we’ve secured another great project.
Lunchtime: Prioritising Health and Well-Being
One of the best things about working with AI is the time it frees up for personal well-being. With the AI agents handling much of the heavy lifting, I now have time for a lunchtime workout. Whether it’s a brisk run or a yoga session, I can step away from my desk guilt-free, knowing that my AI agents are managing key tasks in the background. During my run, my wellness AI agent suggests breathing exercises and stretches to maximise recovery. It’s a reminder of how AI isn’t just about business efficiency—it can also help maintain balance and health in our lives
Afternoon: Collaboration, Diagnostics, and Project Delivery
After lunch, I dive into a new organisation design project. I’m collaborating with several human consultants, and AI-powered diagnostic tools are helping us rapidly assess the client’s current structure. The AI agents analyse workflows, team dependencies, and bottlenecks, allowing us to identify inefficiencies. We meet with the client to present these insights, with the AI having already generated visualisations and models for potential redesigns. The diagnostics are fast and accurate, giving us a strong starting point for co-creating new organisation structures. The client appreciates how quickly we can diagnose and suggest solutions, with AI doing much of the complex data analysis behind the scenes. A quick AI-generated meeting summary is sent to both the client and the team as we move to the next phase.
Late Afternoon: Contractual Work, Invoicing, and Back-Office Efficiency
With several new projects in the pipeline, there’s always some legal and contractual work to handle. My legal AI agent reviews contract drafts, flags potential risks, and suggests amendments to ensure we’re fully protected. This once time-consuming task now takes just minutes. I review and approve the AI’s suggestions, and contracts are sent out automatically for signatures. Invoicing is equally streamlined. My financial AI agent generates invoices based on project milestones, sends them to clients, and even follows up on outstanding payments. I no longer worry about chasing payments or manually creating invoices—AI handles it all, giving me peace of mind.
End of Day: Team Collaboration and Reflection
I close out the day with a virtual team meeting, where both human consultants and AI agents are at the table. AI records the meeting, summarises key points, and captures actions for each team member. By the time the call ends, we all have a clear action plan for the following day. Thanks to AI, my role as a principal consultant has evolved. I can focus on high-level strategy and creative problem-solving, while the AI agents handle much of the routine work. It’s given me the space to focus not just on delivering value for clients, but also on maintaining my own well-being. As I wrap up, I feel accomplished—not just because of what I’ve done today, but because I’ve found balance in how I work.
In this AI-enhanced future, we’re not just more efficient—we’re healthier, more focused, and more fulfilled. And that’s a game-changer for both consultants and clients alike.
